Heat Sealers or Impulse Sealers
A heat sealer is a machine used to seal
product packaging using heat. Continuous heat sealers
utilize heated moving belts. Impulse heat sealers use a
stationary heated element. Good seals are a result of time,
temperature and pressure.
An Impulse sealer is a system, usually found on a "Bottom weld"
machine. This type of machine uses two sealing elements, an
upper and lower which fuse the material from both sides at the
same time. The purpose of "Impulse sealing" is to improve the
bounding of the two layers of film. This gives a faster and
better seal for thicker or hard to seal material.

Designed for shrink film packaging, but
can also be used for poly bag sealing. It works just like a hand
sealer. Sealer usually comes with round wire for cut and seal.
Depending on the model of the machine, film up to 34" wide and
0.025mm (100 gauge) thickness can be used. All sealers are of
steel construction including the work base for quality and
durability. Timer, heat gun holder, film roller, film separator
and cutter unit are some of the different features of the
sealers. Easy to operate. Insert the product between the 2
layers of center fold film and press down the sealing bar. Pull
the sealed package slightly away from the sealing bar. The
element wire will cut and seal the edge. Now turn it over and
seal the other side. Apply hot air using heat gun to shrink the
film uniformly.
